Photograph is one of activity that really booming in this time that usually done by people especially for teenager. After they do photographing, usually they editing their photo before shared into social media. Before that, people do editing photo only via computer (PC). Then, Because Technology more sophisticated in this time, So many photo editing application that exist in smartphone especially Android and iOS.

There must be the reason why they do editing photos like they want to tell people about their existence especially in social media through the perfect photo. And then, for this case there are some points about comparison between Adobe Photoshop and Camera 360.

INTRODUCTION

You are still looking for photo editing aplication for your gadget? Do you know the best photo editing application that must be used by you? Alright, in the era of digital right now, so many smart phone with different brand and also different quality. Especially for application of camera. there is one thing that  really booming in Indonesia, that is photo editing. All people like do this things, because they want to get the perfect picture. There must be a purpose about that, why they do that things.

There are a lot of reasons about that, it will explain in this paper. For example, they want to show to all people about their existence, they want to makes perfect their appearance through their photo, they want to get an attention from people in arround them, and much more. This activity really increase when smart phone especially for android exist in our life. Before photo editing apps appear in our smart phone, photo editing only exist in the computer, laptop, etc. But now, because of technology more sophisticated, we can do photo editing through our gadget. Of course your smart phone must have an operation system of Android. So, you can do editing your photo anytime and anywhere.

Recently, Selfie more increasingly prevalence in Indonesia. Do you know right about what is selfie actually? Oke, selfie is someone who do the photographing by themselves in close up style through the camera in front of mobile phone. Usually after they do editing photo, they will share the picture into their social media like facebook, tweeter, path, instagram, and so on. According to Obengplus.com, History of photograph is when the first time, photo was made by Nicephore Niepce in 1826. At the time, it took 8 hours to create one photo. For the colour photograph was made first time by James Clerk Maxwell in 1826, For high speed photo first time was taken by Eadweard Muybridge in 1878, after that Kodak was exist and made in 1888. And restored in 1889 with film roll and made into a box roll film form in 1890.

Knowledge about photo can not be separated by photo editing software, user that use a photograph through the Camera Digital do the editing photo via computer, like Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, etc. and another people that use photograph through the smart phone do the editing photo by themselves via photo editing apps especially for Android like Camera 360, B612, Beauty Plus, and Etc. In this research the writer try to compare between Adobe Photoshop and Camera 360, for Adobe Photoshop, there are 5 strengths, meanwhile Camera 360 there are 10 strengths.

DISCUSSION

For this research will be discussed about comparison between photo editing via computer like Adobe Photoshop and photo editing smartphone like camera 360. Because both of them really booming and people always using them as something that important to makes their picture perfect. Mostly after people do editing their photo, they will share their picture into social media like facebook, instagram, tweeter, etc. That’s why they do anything to makes their photo perfect and to get an attention from their followers.

This paper will explain about contrast between both of them which one that you will used. First about the strength of Camera 360, according to Versus.com, there are Ten points :

1.    More Filters

Filter lets you apply effects in your picture in once touch, usually with a variety of effects such as retro film or sketch.

2.     Tilt Shift

Tilt shift technique is a technique that can used to achieve “diorama” effect. Which is you can make an ordinary picture looks as if they were taken from a small capital.

3.    Active Filter

When you take a picture with an application, you can see the next picture with filter that already turned on. Which mean, you can choose the filter that accordance with the scene before take a picture, than applying it later. 

4.    Mirror Effect

You can apply the mirror effect in the picture, it is possible for you to do the experiment with makes symetris picture.

5.    Having HDR Setting

You can add HDR effect style in the picture, which is the dark areas will appear brighter, and brighter areas will appear darker – provide the picture more dynamic. It will give you a picture that looks more similar with how the human eyes to see, not from camera.

6.    The Effect of Double Exposures.

In the SLR Manual Camera, you can do double exposure that produce two pictures who blended into one. You can use an application to immitating this effect with mixing two pictures together.

7.    Record The Audio with Photos.

This application captures the audio periode when you take a picture.

8.    Makes A Collage.

You can makes a collage with using your pictures, usually with frame and the shape of its own

9.    Shooting Mode In a Row.

You can shoot a lot of pictures in sequence.

1. Setting of Time

With time setting, you can set amount of time to pass before take a picture. This things will allows you to be in your own picture and great to taking photo with your friend

Those are the strength about camera 360. beside easy, camera 360 also have so many functions. meanwhile in photoshop according to Versus.com, there are five points the strength of photoshop, there are:

1.    Rotate the Image

Photoshop can rotate the image with a variety of interesting effects. Or in generally to repairing the picture that slightly sloping.

2.    Image of sharpening tools.

This tools can make the picture more acute

3.    Optimized for PC

Available version of the application is optimized for PC. This things give the users experience much better than using an application designed for mobile phone or tablets.

4.    Able To Give aTitle in the picture

You can add an information and the title for your picture

5.    Orders the print

You can order physical copies of your photos directly within the application, such as a different size prints and photo books.

Those are the strength of Adobe photoshop. You can choose which one that more comfortable for you. Even if photoshop hard enough to use, but the result of photo editing through this apps (photoshop) more better than camera 360. It is depend on your needed to do the editing photo.

  

CONCLUSION

In this modern era right now, the sophistication of technology more increase. Especially for gadget that really important for some people. So many gadget that appear in new brand, different quality, etc. For smart phone right now usually equipped with a front camera because of customer’s demand. People very like to do photo selfie through the camera itself. After they do the selfie, usually they do photo editing to makes their photo perfectly. That is why smart phone company give an application for photo editing that can downloaded by people in easy.

Before photo editing apps appear in smartphone, photo editing apps only exist in the computer or PC, but because of this era more increasingly sophisticated from year to year, photo editing apps exist in our smart phone as well. Photo editing apps that most famous in this time like Camera 360 Ultimate. Those apps can be downloaded through the Android or iOS inside Play Store. Because of this phenomenon really booming, there must be the reason why people do this thing. there are some points about contrast between adobe photoshop and Camera 360 that stated in this paper, ten points for camera 360, five points for adobe photoshop. And don’t forget, everything that we do in our life, of course there are some impact about that, can be positive, can be negative.
